Part 1: Cultural Trends in the Workplace

This seminar is the first of a 3 part series and introduces cultural trends that impact the workplace. This includes the strength of these cultural changes on our personality and behavior at work. A culture of excess is presented along with evidence of the decline in self control. The evidence for increasing narcissistic tendencies is described and defined. The seminar sets the framework and background for how positive changes can be made in the workplace. Questions are presented along with examples to facilitate participation.

Time: 1.5 - 2.0 hours

Part 2: Effective Decisions & Judgment

This seminar is the second of a 3 part series and addresses these questions:

  • How do we make effective decisions at work?
  • What factors impede effective decisions and judgment at work?
  • How do we minimize cultural trends and make effective decisions?

Topic and content areas include expectations, the self serving bias, conflict of interest and the importance of variability in collecting and analyzing information. Questions are presented along with examples to facilitate participation.

Time: 2.0 hours

Part 3: Redefining Success at Work

This seminar is the third of a 3 part series and focuses on how to make positive changes and improve productivity at work. The content areas include:

  • The importance of regulations and boundaries
  • The skill set needed for effective management and supervision of employees
  • The key emphasis on the manager/employee relationship
  • The recognition and response to employee and professional devaluation
  • The avoidance of robot quality assurance and customer care
  • The development of feedback and positive responses
  • Measuring success through focus on quality factors

Questions are presented along with examples to facilitate participation.

Time: 2.0 - 2.5 hours
